Flip-Over "Tippe Tops"

Flip-over Tippetops will flip right over onto their stem if you spin them fast enough.  It takes a practice try or two but it is not difficult.  These tops are not recommended for kids under six as they haven't yet developed the proper dexterity to get the tops to work.

A famous picture exists from the opening of the Institute of Physics at the University of Lund in Sweden in 1951, where Wolfgang Pauli and Niels Bohr are looking at a Tippe Top. Bohr was very interested in the physics of the top, and it is believed that also Winston Churchill enjoyed the top.

Flip Tops measure approximately 1-1/4" diameter by 1-3/4" tall.

Available in your choice of material:  wood or shiny metal (metal costs more).
